If you receive the Higher Rate Motability Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC of DLA) or War Pensioners' Motability Supplement (WPMS) for 12 months at the start of the contract, you are eligible to finance a Nissan with Motability Finance Limited.
Contract Hire
• The most popular finance scheme for our Nissan Motability customers.
• Contract Hire is an agreement where you generally pay an initial rental and then a weekly allowance, although in some cases an initial rent is not charged.
• This covers the hire of the car, routine maintenance and servicing costs over the period of the contract, which is usually 3 years.
• It also includes fully comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance and Loss of Use Protection Policy.
• This means that for most customers your only cost will be fuel, oil and water.
• At the end of the agreement period, you simply hand the car back with nothing more to pay (unless there is excessive wear and tear or you have exceeded the agreed mileage limit).
• You can then choose your next Nissan Motability vehicle.
• Once your agreement is complete and has been approved, you don't even need to worry about sorting direct debits. The DWP will pay your allowance direct to Motability Operations, leaving you with nothing to worry about - except where to take your next drive.

What if I cannot afford a vehicle?
At Nissan we understand that while having access to a car is important, many of our customers find it hard to make ends meat. So, we frequently have a selection of our best selling models on special offer. This usually includes a low monthly payment or a nil advance payment, enabling you to get your car with the minimum amount of fuss and without the need to make an advance payment or deposit.
If you cannot afford the Advance Payment or require financial help for any adaptations on a Nissan vehicle, you can apply to Motability for financial assistance. (Please note that applying for a grant can take a long time and you are not guaranteed acceptance.)
What to do next?
1. Using your allowance as a guide, select the Nissan car you would like.
2. Contact the Nissan Motability Centre on 0800 731 9633 or by email - they'll put you in touch with your nearest dealer, who will in turn help you complete your application for finance. Alternatively, you can find your nearest dealer by using our dealer locator.
3. The application is sent to Motability Operations who will process your application. If you are approved, the agreement papers are returned to your Nissan dealership. You'll receive a welcome letter from Motability confirming the success of your application - and it won't be long before you're experiencing more freedom with Nissan.
